Step Up For Students

In 2001, the Florida Legislature created the income-based Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program to assure that low-income children have more learning options. In May 2019, nearly 20 years later, the Family Empowerment Scholarship was created by the Florida Legislature to further help low-income children.

Both scholarships are based on financial need not how well your child does in school. The Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC) and Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options (FES-EO) programs give families of K-12 students a choice of financial assistance toward private school tuition and fees, or helps with transportation costs for students to attend a public school different than the one the student is assigned to.

The Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA), formerly known as the Gardiner Scholarship, allows parents to personalize the education of their children with unique abilities by directing money toward a combination of programs and approved providers. These include schools, therapists, specialists, curriculum, technology – even a college savings account.

Students receiving McKay Scholarship funds for the 2021-22 school year will transition to the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities program (FES-UA) for the 2022-23 school year.

Has your child been bullied? If so, there’s hope. The Hope Scholarship gives parents the option to place their child in a safer academic environment. The Hope Scholarship is for students in grades kindergarten through 12 who are enrolled in a Florida public school and have been bullied, harassed, assaulted, threatened and/or a victim of other violent acts.

Faith Fellowship School Financial Aid

The “God Fund” and FCR Grant:  We understand the importance of placing your child in a Christian based learning environment however, not all families have the financial liberty to do so.  Faith Church of the Redlands and Faith Fellowship School operates under the principal of Philippians 4:19, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”  It is with this consideration that we employ all means possible to assure you have the choice to place your child in our unique school.

FCR Grant

Faith Fellowship School, (F.F.S.), is a ministry of Faith Church of the Redlands, (F.C.R.).  The Faith Church of the Redlands Grant is funding made possible through Faith Church of the Redlands.  This is a grant awarded to students of Faith Fellowship School. Maximum grant amount per student is $4500 per school year.  Grant funds are applied to student’s tuition fee only.

The “God Fund”

The “God Fund” is FFS’s own financial aid system.  It is our way of serving you financially. The “God’s Fund” may be requested in writing once all grants and/or scholarships have been applied towards your registration, tuition and other applicable fees.  If all financial limits have been exhausted, including a monthly payment plan, and a balance remains due you may request assistance through the “God Fund”. In exchange for additional financial support through this fund you may volunteer your time, services and talents in return for financial assistance.  This is a win-win for you and the school. Request must be done in writing through the Registrar.

Faith Fellowship School is a school but we are first a ministry.  Our heart is to serve you and your families. We will work with you on an individual basis as each family has its own unique needs.  Please contact our business manager, Cassandra Soutar, for additional information and to schedule an appointment.
